bRUNch's #SoleMatesChallenge: Log as many as miles as you can with that someRUN special in your life.
SOLE MATE CHALLENGE
Each month, we will challenge you to exceed your running goals and reward you with some awesome prizes! Our first challenge will start on February 1st and is dubbed the #SoleMatesChallenge. The whole goal of this challenge is to log as many miles as you can with your sole-mate (teammate). The team with the most recorded running miles by February 28th wins! Easy enough?!
What do we win?
For February's Challenge the winning team wins: two race entries to a REVEL Running Race of your choice (one entry per winning sole-mate).
How can I participate?
First, you and your sole-mate must both be members in order to participate in this challenge. Right now, we are offering $10 off our membership until January 31st with the special discount code: Challenge Me. That's just $15 for the year and that gets you a bunch of amazing perks, access to all challenges, discounts, free stuff and more!
When does the Challenge Start?
The Challenge starts on February 1st and goes until February 28th 11:59 p.m. (MST). On January 31st, will email all participants a few "house-keeping" rules along with a very pretty calendar where you can keep track of your miles on a daily basis.
We will email you a weekly calendar to track your miles. Let's keep this fun and let's all be held accountable by sharing our progress on social media! How? We ask that you post photos of your calendar, of you running, miles on the treadmill, and/or photos of miles logged via running apps ( i.e. Map My Run, Garmin, Strava, etc.) Use the hastag: #SoleMatesChallenge and #bRUNchTribe.
All miles must be uploaded by 10:00 p.m. MST on March 1st and the winning team will be announced on March 3rd!
Little FYI. We are doing this challenge on the "honor system". Be honest about how many miles you and your partner are running. Besides, what is the fun in cheating?! #EARNIT
How to submit our miles?
bRUNch Running will be sending you an email along with calendar attachment that you will fill out every week. Both you and your #solemate will fill out your own. Each Friday during the month of February, we ask that you submit your filled out calendar to us at firstname.lastname@example.org at which time we will post everyone's milage so you can see your team's standing as well as other challenger's. We will also send you a new calendar every Saturday to begin your new running week!
