Where to Run, Eat and Drink in April

Spring has sprung, even if it does not feel like it in parts of the country. Even so, there are so many great events going on this month, where you can get your run, eat or drink on!

 

April 1 - Fabulous Arizona’s 5 Year Anniversary Celebration

No fooling, we love our friends at Fabulous Arizona! They know all the best places to eat and drink in throughout the state. Why not help them celebrate 5 years at Dakota!

 

April 3rd - bRUNch is back in Denver!

Our 4th season of bRUNch Denver kicks off on April 3rd at Jezebel’s Southern Bistro and Bar! Run a fun 5k or 10k, eat fried chicken, and drink Voodoo bloody Marys and beer from Great Divide!

 

April 6th - Hoppy Yogis at Great Divide

On the first Wednesday of every month, Great Divide hosts Hoppy Yogis! Lead by the fabulous instructors at CorePower Yoga Rino/Industry, this yoga session is perfect for bRUNchers. Stretch out and drink up!

 

April 14th - Scarlett on Brett Beer Release & Food Pairing

Fort Collins Brewery will be releasing a wild ale brewed using a primary brett fermentation with delicious pineapple and stone fruit flavors. They’ve also created a delicious pairing menu that will be available in the Modern Tavern all day!

 

April 15th - Pickle Party with The Real Dill

Our friends are the real deal! Help The Real Dill celebrate the release of their new Thai Chile Ginger pickles. This event will be hosted at The Dillery where the Milehightahi food truck will be on hand serving up bites that will pair perfectly with Ratio Beerworks Thai-inspired beer. Oh, and don’t forget the cocktails that will be flowing! Backyard Soda Co. and Bear Creek Distillery will be continuing the theme with Thai-inspired adult beverages.

 

April 16th - Run for Beer with Renegade Brewing

Walk, jog, run and drink beer to help Renegade raise money for local non-profits!  This fun 5k-ish run starts at 11 a.m. and all participants will receive a free beer after crossing the finish line.

 

April 17th - Horsetooth Half Marathon

The Horsetooth Half Marathon offers stunning views of the Fort Collins skyline between the iconic peaks of Horsetooth Mountain and Arthur’s Rock. The start of the race begins at 5,195 feet above sea level and takes runners on a nearly 500-ft. Climb to the top of “Monster Mountain.” This run is not for the faint of heart.


 

April 19th - Metro Caring Public Tour

Metro Caring is our solemate. We have been so grateful to partner with this fantastic non-profit for the past three years. On Tuesday, April 19th get an exclusive behind-the-scenes look at what this amazing organization does for its community.

 

April 20th - Candlelight Brewery Yoga at FCB

Woosah. Wind down at Fort Collins Brewery! Yoga session starts at 7p.m. and costs $15 per person.

 

April 21st - bRUNch at Night with Snooze Gilbert

The bRUNching season is coming to an end in Phoenix and to celebrate we wanted to do something a little different. bRUNch is taking over Snooze in Gilbert for a night to remember! Enjoy a fun run, an all you can eat breakfast buffet, and 2 tasty beverages of your choice all for $40.  Also, a portion of our proceeds benefits The Boys and Girls Club of Phoenix.

 

April 23rd- Saturday bRUNch at Under The Sun

bRUNching isn’t just for Sunday’s anymore! bRUNch will be kicking off our Saturday (yes Saturday) bRUNch pop-up series at Under the Sun in Boulder on April 23rd! Yup, you can now bRUNch all weekend long! Yip-ee!

 

April 23rd - 12th Annual Pat’s Run Phoenix

If you have never done this race, do it this year! Pat’s Run is the signature fundraising event of the Pat Tillman Foundation. Held in late April to commemorate the day Pat lost his life in Afghanistan serving with the 75th Ranger Regiment, Pat’s Run is a 4.2 mile run/walk that winds through the streets of Tempe to Sun Devil Stadium, symbolic of the #42 jersey Pat wore as an ASU Sun Devil.

 

April 1st - October 1st - The Fika Passport    

We love coffee and we love the idea of grabbing a cup and spending time with friends! The Fika Passport is a guide to discovering local coffee shops throughout the Denver metro area. At each shop, present the Fika Passport to the barista for the appropriate deal. Upon checkout the booklet will be stamped. The Fika Passport is good for one 2-for-1 coffee special at the 24 participating shops. This program will connect urban explorers with the best coffee shops and roasters in Denver, and encourage Fika Passport holders to take time to sit and relax with a friend.
