What We Loved This Week

Shoes, shoes, and more shoes! Shoes seemed to be a popular topic of “things we loved” this week as three of us found several pairs that we can’t run without. But that’s not all we loved this week, yoga and outdoor running also made the list.

Cortney Logan, bRUNch Co-founder

“Spring has sprung! I love that I don’t have to run on the treadmill now that it is warming up! I’ve been running outside everyday this week which is getting me excited for our Denver bRUNching season to start.”

Sam McCarthy, bRUNch Denver Ambassador

“I absolutely love my Brooks PureGrit 3 shoes. They are a cross-over shoe so they are more suited for trails which I love. I registered for my first ultra trail race, and these shoes have been great for training so far. They are light-weight, comfortable, sturdy and supportive around the ankles, durable and have great tread to protect from rocks and obstacles on the trail! I’m on my third pair!”

Katie Tate, bRUNch Denver Ambassador

“My favorite yoga studio is Kindness Yoga.  They have a variety of classes and I really enjoy their hot yoga classes especially their Kindness Hot class.  The day after a long run, go to one of their Restorative classes.”

Sara Nazemi, bRUNch Phoenix Ambassador

“The right shoes are crucial for performance and injury prevention. The Brooks Adrenaline shoe is my current favorite stability show since I pronate. Make sure you have the right pair of shoes for your stride.”

Alex Weissner, bRUNch Co-founder

“I have really high arches and whenever I’m buying new running shoes I always love when a shoe can provide ample support. This past week at Boulder Running Company Cherry Creek’s Fun Run, I was able to demo New Balance’s new Fresh Foam Zante shoe. The color was bright and the shoes were light and had the arch support I love.”
