Where to bRUNch after the 3M Half Marathon

Excited to run Austin’s first-- and fastest-- half marathon of the year? We are too! But what we’re most excited about is where we’re going to be brunching with our bling after!

13 miles means 13 mimosas, right?! Reward yourself and your tummy with some awesome eats at some of our favorite local spots, close to your finish line on the ever famous Congress Ave! Who says brioche french toast doesn’t set personal records??

Annie’s Cafe and Bar

319 N. Congress Ave, Austin, Texas

Pair one of the oldest Austin races with the oldest restaurant in town! Here you can find traditional American fare that includes omelets, eggs benny, mac and cheese and (our favorite) brioche french toast! And don’t forget to refuel those glycogen stores with some delicious bloody marys and mimosas, too!

Moonshine Bar and Grill

303 Red River Street, Austin, Texas

Super hungry? Well grab a plate --or three-- and enjoy an endless brunch buffet of classic American eats at Moonshine Grill! Situated just off Congress Avenue, but so close to the finish, we wouldn’t be surprised if you couldn’t smell the lovely treats awaiting you and your shiny new bling! Enjoy a variety of comfort food and fantastic cocktails on their beautiful patio!

Swifts Attic

315 Congress Avenue, Austin, Texas

Hankering for something a little unusual? Swifts Attic, a lovely little Austin staple has everything your tummy is craving and more! Choose between PB&J Pancakes, Korean BBQ Flank Steak, Stuffed French Toast and other favorites like their famous Bowling Alley Burger! Oh, and don’t forget that liquid fuel with one dollar mimosas and a six dollar bloody mary bar!

(And, be on the lookout for our bRUNch crew, you might just run into us!)
